What I am leaving with you is shalom — I am giving you my shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened. ~ John 14:27 (Complete Jewish Bible)

YOU MAY THINK IT’S A SECRET, BUT WE’VE ALL GOT THEM …We’ve all got our issues! Maybe you feel like life just isn’t going your way, or you’re afraid that you don’t measure up to other people’s expectations. Perhaps you have a hard time managing your temper or have someone in your life you just can’t forgive. We deal with our “issues” every day in one form or another; the problem is, after a while, they start to feel . . . normal. Unchanging. Just part of who we are. And we forget that we have access to the power of Christ—a power that can transform our everyday weaknesses into our greatest strengths and gifts.

Enough about me, let’s talk about you. What do you think of me?

C.C. Bloom,Beaches

The above quote is from the book She’s Got Issues, in chapter five entitled “Insidious Insecurity” which I believe is a good way to sum up the issues that many women face today.

Author, Nicole Unice in the book and DVD brings to light the issue of insecurity, as well as others such as comparisons, fear, anger, and unforgiveness. She also warns about the damage they will do to our relationships with Christ, our families and our lives, if left unchecked. Using Scriptures from the Bible, that author lays a good foundation on how to deal with these peace-stealers and how to enjoy God’s presence while also restoring our joy in the everyday, mundane things in life. The same things, that may have become triggers for our issues.

Small groups will be in for treat using the book along with the DVD Group experience. In the DVD, Nicole and her friends bravely share their own experiences with control, insecurity, fear, anger and unforgiveness and the negative effects of that behavior, and how it can spill over into the lives of the ones we love.

Highly Recommended. She’s Got Issues book and DVD Curriculum will be an enjoyable and refreshingly new way for women to face and discuss the tough issues facing women of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds. I encourage getting the curriculum for yourself or for small discussion groups.

In She’s Got Issues, Christian counselor, ministry leader, and regular mom Nicole Unice explores the ordinary issues that are keeping you from the full and free life you were meant to have. Applying years of counseling with practical scriptural teaching and a fresh and authentic voice, Nicole shows you how to let God freely shape your character—and transform your life from ordinary to abundant.

Tyndale House Publishers has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book and DVD.
